

Tap the more options button and from the menu that opens, select Edit Recording. When you tap a voice memo, it expands to reveal a delete button, and a more options button. Tap the voice memo that you want to continue recording.

Open the Voice Memo app on your iPhone or iPad. If you want, you can resume recording a voice memo on iOS even days after you’ve made it. That’s not the case, at least not on iOS 12. If you want to add something to a memo after you’re done recording, there does’t seem to be a way to do that.

On the surface of it, it seems that you can only record a voice memo in one go. This app is great and coupled with the excellent hardware that an iPhone has, it makes for a good recording tool. From there, you can view the transcript and additionally share to other apps like Google Drive or Slack.IOS has a dedicated Voice Memo app. You will see your transcript appear in the Rev Voice Recorder app once finished.
